As a keynote speaker, Sue motivates and educates teachers, school administrators and faculties of education on the important role they play in providing occupational safety education to their students to prepare them for work and life. 

In smaller settings, Sue provides workshops to teachers, administrators and Faculties of Education about the practical aspects of teaching safety to students and provides tools and advice to make lessons engaging and memorable for students.

Employer presentations:

For employers, Sue focuses on the key role and responsibility they have to provide safe workplaces, exceptional training, orientation and supervision especially for young and new workers.

Young workers:  Sue addresses national and international assemblies on Ontario’s model for workplace safety and in-school curriculum-based safety education for students.  Recently she’s addressed including World Congress on Health and Safety (Frankfurt Germany), Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (Toronto),   Mainstreaming OSH into education: Towards a culture of prevention (Turin, Italy); Ontario Constructors Association (Toronto).
