Classroom Resources for the Education System

 

Under Sue’s leadership, a series of resources for Ontario teachers were written, produced and published and continue to be used in the Ontario school system.  The curriculum-based, classroom-ready, teacher-friendly series includes:

  • Special learning needs: Canada's only health and safety resource for teachers of students with special learning needs. The 200-page resource covers key occupational health and safety topics. Lessons were developed with advice from special education and English as a second language teachers with advice from teachers of blind and deaf students.

  • Cooperative and Experiential learning: A must-have, well-used, practical health and safety resource for teachers who prepare and place students in work placements to earn high school credits.

  • Kindergarten to Grade 8 - A teacher resource for teaching younger students and developmental appropriate lessons to prepare them for workplace safety topics.

  • Grade 9 to 12 - curriculum-based resourced to assist teachers delivering health and safety lessons embedded in the curriculum they must deliver.
